Scott has spent years building a successful career as a self-employed contractor. Alongside his wife Nicolina, he began looking for a business they could run together, something scalable, practical, and rooted in their existing skills.
Early on, they explored several franchises that required storefront locations, but the high startup costs and thinner margins made those opportunities less appealing. When they connected with Marc, everything shifted.
Marc introduced them to the home services industry, where the lower overhead, simple operations, and strong demand immediately stood out. With Scott’s background in contracting and support from family investor Joseph, the opportunity made perfect sense.
After reviewing several brands, they chose a home services business focused on exterior cleaning and pressure washing that aligned with their long-term goals.
“Scott and Nicolina were patient and very intentional throughout the process,” Marc said. “They focused on finding the right model that matched Scott’s skills and their vision for growth.”
Now, they own three territories in a growing home services franchise in Utah and are building a business designed to scale. Congrats to Scott and Nicolina!
Rolling Suds is already the largest franchisor in the Residential and Commercial Power Washing space after only one year of development. That was made possible by leveraging a 34-year-old Affiliate that has perfected proprietary systems, tools, and methodologies to build a $2M power
washing business in Philadelphia, PA leveraging both residential and commercial accounts.
In a marketplace that is extremely fragmented and populated with Mom-and-Pop operations, our franchisees stand out in the crowd due to the capabilities of our proprietary trucks and equipment to perform services in a fraction of the time vs. competitors as well as service commercial business beyond the scope of most in the industry.
In addition, Rolling Suds brings a level of professionalism and customer service to the power washing industry that has never been seen before on such a scale. Labor is unskilled and due to the strong EBITA of the business model, our franchisees are able to attract employees by out-pacing, in most markets, the average pay scale for employees.
*You should treat the values as approximated values. These values were found online through research.
Our Franchisees are all full-time in the business, unless they can show they have the capital and experience to put a team in place from the beginning. We are attracting empire builders who desire to build a seven-figure business and expect to work on the business, not in it. Initially our franchisees will be focused on managing a small crew, performing estimates for customers, and networking in the community with commercial lead providers.

Competitive Advantage - Each truck contains two high-pressure washers and carries 900 gallons of water and 1000 linear feet of hoses. This equipment, plus our teams of two technicians, allow us to complete a job in less than half of the time as most competitors. Our proprietary equipment and Professional Power Washing Method allow us to wash buildings up to 4 stories high, eliminating the need for costly lifts and scaffolding, and limiting the liability to the employees. Our exclusive relationship with Alpha Drones allows us to use drone technology to soft wash up to 12 story high commercial properties and structures. Our customer interaction technology provides an “Uber-like” experience for the customer. Our U.S.-based call center books the appointments and places them on the calendar so that the franchisee can focus on local activities that build their business.
Initial 9 Month Marketing Package - covered in their New Business Set.
Recurring Revenue - Recurring revenue on the commercial and residential side.
Large Labor Pool - Large unskilled labor pool with no licenses necessary.
The Kona Ice franchise is one of the most recognizable mobile food businesses in the United States, with over 1,800 shaved ice trucks operating across the country. But how much does it actually cost to start a Kona Ice truck, and how much money do franchise owners really make? In this video, I break down the Kona Ice franchise startup costs, royalty fees, and business model, including why the company does not disclose earnings in its Franchise Disclosure Document. We also look at how the business started, why it grew so quickly, and how Kona Ice trucks generate revenue through school events, festivals, and community partnerships. If you're considering buying a mobile food franchise or want to understand how this shaved ice franchise works, this breakdown will walk you through the numbers and the opportunity.
