Franchise of the Week: Unique $167K* Franchise You’ve Never Heard of & a Home Services Resale Doing $690K** in Gross Sales
🎉 New Franchise Owner through Franchise Empire 🎉
Michael and Joann came to us with a clear goal. They wanted to find a business Joann could lead full-time, with Michael supporting behind the scenes and eventually stepping in full-time as the company grew.
Michael had spent 16 years working in avionics, and both of them were ready to build something of their own. They explored several service-based franchises but weren’t locked into any specific industry at the start.
That’s when they connected with Marc from our team. Together, they explored a handful of strong opportunities and quickly realized that the in-home senior care space checked every box. The model offered meaningful work, strong demand, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of families in their community.
Marc shared: “Michael and Joann approached the process with a lot of clarity about their roles and long-term vision. Once we focused on senior care, everything really started to line up.”
Now, they are the proud owners of two territories across South Carolina and Georgia and are officially building a business they can grow together for years to come.
Congrats, Michael and Joann. This is the beginning of something big.

FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE REPRESENTATIONS

Benefits for the Franchisee:
Scalability - While you can get into this with a single unit, you also have the option to run multiple units out of the same office. You could also choose to be an area representative, which allows you an exclusive right to sell, train, and give support to franchisees in your region.
Recurring Revenue - Most of your clients will need a caregiver for an extended period of time. This could be weeks to years, allowing you to rely on a consistent income every month.
Ability to Add Medical Services - Some home care franchises ONLY offer non-medical services. With Assisting Hands, you’ll be able to add on medical services once you have obtained licensure, giving you the ability to keep those clients who may have otherwise needed to find new caregivers.
Quick ramp-up - Can get your location started within 3-6 months of signing. While it may take a little bit of time to establish a consistent client base, your overhead costs are relatively small, and your total start-up cost will likely be under $150K.
Demand - According to the U.S. Census Bureau, beginning in 2010 and continuing over the next 20 years, an average of 10,000 people per day will turn age 65. According to the AARP, 67% of them will need some type of long-term care in the future. Only five percent (5%) reside or will reside in nursing homes.
