Back in 1907, two teenagers, James Casey and Claude Ryan, launched the American Messenger Company. Their job was simple: deliver packages and messages as quickly as possible. At that time, they only used bicycles and their own two feet to get around.
The company eventually rebranded as United Parcel Service, UPS, and over the decades became one of the most trusted delivery companies in the world. Today, UPS operates in more than 220 countries and territories and moves over 6.3 billion packages each year.
